This Lenten season, we invite you to study the Gospel of Mark. The Gospel of Mark is a carefully crafted story that gives an account of Jesus' life and addresses the question of whether or not He is the Jewish Messiah. From this we can draw many conclusions and truths out for application to our daily lives. As a companion to our sermon series based in this gospel, we have provided you with a daily reading plan designed to walk you through Mark culminating with the final chapter on Easter Sunday.

You can download the reading plan below and watch two very helpful overview videos on Mark from The Bible Project - a non-profit animation studio who's mission is to tell the biblical story through animation.
More about The Bible Project can be found by clicking here.

One of the earliest official accounts of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Mark addresses the basic questions of whether Jesus was the true Messiah for whom Israel had been waiting. And if so, what kind of Messianic king was he if he suffered and died?
Watch our Read Scripture video on the book of Mark, which breaks down the literary design of the book and its flow of thought. Mark demonstrates that Jesus is Israel's Messiah who inaugurates God's kingdom through his suffering, death, and resurrection.
