We were created to worship God and be in right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Music and the arts can be vehicles for expressing our love for God and his work in our lives.

Is acting your gift?

Then Drama is for you. On occasion we use drama to enhance worship and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in new and creative ways. We present short dramatic sketches in our worship service on a semi-regular basis and on occasion for special events. Actresses or Actors who are interested can contact Jonathan Orwig for more information. We also can utilize people with experience in costumes/wardrobe, sets, lighting and sound.

For the Technically Minded

Big fan of technology? Have an ear to make music sound good? Then we could use your help on Sunday mornings and other special events to operate the sound and video equipment. If you have any experience in working with computers, sound boards, amps, and speakers that would be great, but if not, we are more than happy to train you.

Help Prepare the Sanctuary for Worship

The Chancel Design Team is our group that helps prepare the altar and platform area each time we gather for worship. They help take care of and place decorations on the altar, and the in the chancel (stage or platform area at the front of the church) and make sure the candles are filled with the proper amount of oil. We are beginning to expand the Chancel Design Team ministry but we need people who are gifted in visual arts or interior design. Anyone who is interested should contact Jonathan Orwig and he will put you in touch with the leaders of this minstry.
