Year-round outreach and community service locally and globally are Asbury's goals, and these programs are currently in place to facilitate the congregation's commitment to active service in the name of Jesus Christ:

Local community Service

• Homeless Shelter Meals and Clothing - Asbury provides meals for the Grace Episcopal Shelter every 2nd Sunday of every even month. Clothing donations are made on an ongoing basis.
• Meals-on-Wheels - Asbury members deliver two routes of meals every Sunday in April and October.
• Madison-Area Food Pantry Gardening Project - Asbury members support the Lacy, Hershberger and Malmquist gardens, providing fresh produce for local food pantries.
• Red Cross Once-a-Week Blood Drive Club - Asbury coordinates this program for the congregation to offer its blood donations on an ongoing basis.
• Farmers Market Food Pickup - Two or three times each year, Asbury members pick up produce from local farm markets for delivery to local food pantries.
• Food Pantry Drive - Twice each year, Asbury collects food for Middleton Outreach Ministry food pantry.
• Madison Crop Walk - Asbury participates in the October Crop Walk to support Church World Service.
• Middleton Outreach Ministries (MOM) - Asbury members donate clothing and food throughout the year to support this local ministry effort.
• Madison Circuit Council Service Ministry Day - Asbury is one of 11 Madison Methodist churches which participates in this annual service day to provide volunteer teams to assist in various local projects. This past year, over 300 Methodists worked on a Saturday in projects ranging from painting apartments to tending gardens and raking leaves.

• Missionary families stationed full-time in Kenya, Congo, Hungary, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico - financial and spiritual support
• Ganta United Methodist Hospital in Liberia, Rwanda, Bangladesh, Haiti - medical support
• UMCOR Disaster Relief in Bangladesh, Haiti - war, hurricane, famine
• Heifer International - world hunger & poverty assistance
