Q: Kids Under Construction
What's That?

A: Kids Under Construction is Asbury's Children's Ministry!

  • We believe in partnering with parents to construct kids by teaching children to live God's way
  • We want kids to know and love Jesus Christ and to live out his values and teachings in their daily lives.
  • We believe that parents are the key to growing kids God's way.
  • We believe that we are a resource to help parents teach God's story to their children.

Sunday School

Sunday School is offered at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. every Sunday for children 2 years old - 6th grade. At Sunday School, children will worship God, learn about Bible stories and biblical truths, and learn that God loves them and wants to have a relationship with them. Kids will also learn how to apply what they have learned to their daily lives at home, school, and with their friends. Asbury's Sunday School engages the children through innovative use of multi-media, music, and creative teaching that promotes learning while at the same time fosters friendships.

KidsZone

KidsZone is our evening program for kids ages 5-12, Sundays from 6:00-7:30pm and Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm (Sept - April). The goal of KidsZone is to learn simple Bible truths and for kids to apply them to their daily life at both home and school. Most of all, KidsZone is FUN!

Route 56
5th & 6th grade youth

Sundays, 6:00-7:30pm (year round). Focuses on tackling tough problems and situations during difficult middle school transition years. Worship, prayer, Bible study, friendships, and fellowship under college student leadership and guidance. Guests are always welcome!

3rd grade Bible Mentor Program

Asbury third graders presented an NIV Study Bible. Each student assigned a "grand-parent" Bible Mentor for once a month individual Bible Study time. The goal is an intergenerational connection between the kids and mentor, friendships, and a solid Biblical foundation. The Bible teaches "We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done." (Psalm 78:4)
